Join us for a fun, family-friendly night out in downtown Jackson on the First Friday of the month, May through August. Each month brings a different theme with something for everyone—food trucks, vendors, music, and community fun that gets you out and enjoying our town together.

May 1 – Classic Car Night & Art Walk: Stroll downtown to check out classic cars, enjoy a First Friday flea market, local vendors, food trucks, and an art walk, and live music.

June 5 – Summer Fun Night: A laid-back summer vibe with snow cones, ice cream, watermelon, food trucks, vendors, live music, and a First Friday flea market.

July 3 – Fireworks Night: community fireworks celebration at dark at the fairgrounds.

August 7 – School Spirit Night: Celebrate our local schools with cheerleaders, band music, coaches’ shout-outs, and school clubs hosting fundraiser booths with food and merchandise.

Join us as we celebrate a once-in-a-generation milestone — America’s 250th birthday — right here in Jackson!
This exciting, family-friendly event will bring our community together for a full evening of patriotic fun, delicious food vendors, a festive patriotic parade, live music, and a variety of activities for all ages.
We’re turning this into a true community celebration, with local clubs and organizations hosting games, contests, and interactive experiences throughout the evening — from hot-dog and watermelon-eating contests to cornhole tournaments, kids’ activities, live music, and more.
Whether you’re coming to compete, shop, eat, or just enjoy the atmosphere, there will be something for everyone to experience and enjoy.
